Using ILAS library comprehensive management system, the library completed the retrospective database construction of the merged multi-campus books and documents, unified information management of the library books and documents, and realized the borrowing and returning of multi-campus books. The library is equipped with distributed reading guidance system, electronic information display screen, bibliographic inquiry terminal, automatic access control system, comprehensive service desk for readers and other facilities, and a reading area with convenient use and rich cultural atmosphere. The stacks and reading rooms are all open shelves, and the integrated services of collection, lending, reading and inquiry are implemented, providing readers with a humanized library environment.

The library actively meets the needs of readers. It is open 94 hours a week, seven days a week, and the attendance rate of the reading room reaches 95%. The number of readers received by the library continues to grow, with an average of more than 4,000 readers every day, and a total of 3.5 million readers have entered the library. The number of books borrowed has increased year by year, with more than 2.8 million borrowers and nearly 265,438+10,000 books borrowed. The digital resources of the library provide 24-hour uninterrupted service, and the website of electronic literature resources has visited 3.24 million times, with an average monthly visit of about 90,000 times. The library of Guizhou University distributes Reader's Guide and Database Use Guide to freshmen every year, and offers literature retrieval courses to cultivate students' ability to use literature resources, which has played an effective role in improving students' ability to obtain literature resources.
