1.? Call family and friends. I remember when I first came here, I saw that the school was not as good as I thought, and then I was disappointed. I even had the idea of dropping out of school to study again, and then after my parents left, I always wanted to go home. I am not familiar with this place. In the evening, I called my mother. I said this school is really broken, not as good as high school. Then my mother has been comforting me. In order not to worry about me, I didn't say anything, so I got used to it for a few days. Then I called my classmate, who was complaining that the school was really far away and broken. At this moment, I don't seem so uncomfortable and homesick. My emotions have been vented, and I know someone who has the same experience as me.
2. Adapt to college life, make more friends and participate in more activities. On the second day of my arrival, I met a generous Northeastern. He was very enthusiastic and dragged us to the rooftop to chat, and then we often went drinking. I also joined several clubs, and I feel that all the clubs I joined are great. Everyone feels very happy and feel at home. Finally, I often go to some activities organized by schools, and I usually become enriched. When there are new small groups and busy things to do, I feel less homesick.
You can take time to go home and have a look I am not far from home. You can take time off to go home on weekends, so when you first arrive at college, you often go home as soon as you have a holiday, and then go back to school, so you don't feel so homesick.
Growth is a long journey, and we always try to adapt to it.
