The college consists of power engineering department, high voltage and insulation technology department, power electronics and motor department, electrical theory and new technology department (innovation and experimental teaching center), artificial intelligence and automation department. There are currently 0/84 in-service teachers, including 44 professors, 57 associate professors and 23 lecturers. There are 5 double-hired academicians, 973 chief scientist 1 person, 2 winners of the National Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, 2 members of the Discipline Evaluation Group of the State Council Academic Degrees Committee 1 person, 2 members of the Teaching Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education, 2 outstanding scholars of Luo Jia 1 person, and 2 distinguished professor of Luo Jia, enjoying special government allowance of the State Council1person, and serving as a teacher. The college recruits about 35 planned doctoral students, 200 master students and more than 300 undergraduates every year.
