The library of Changsha University of Science and Technology has three buildings (Yuntang Hall, Hall A and Hall B), with a total construction area of more than 60,000 square meters, nearly 7,000 reading seats, 312,80000 volumes of literature and more than 3,000 Chinese and foreign newspapers and periodicals.

In August 2007, the library of Yuntang New Campus of Changsha University of Science and Technology was officially opened. The new library in Yuntang Campus is a modern and intelligent landmark building, and it is also the center of library modernization, networking, digital management and service.

Based on the construction and development, under the leadership of the school, the library strives to build and improve the modern service and management system according to the principle of "overall planning, advanced starting point, complete design, complete functions and step-by-step implementation" and the construction idea of "unified management, efficient operation, high-quality service and harmonious development" of the three libraries, relying on the campus network. Under the unified network and management platform, the daily business of the library, such as interview, acceptance, cataloging, collection, circulation and reading, has realized computer network management.
