Joseph Chamberlain Bell Tower, the landmark building of the school, is the tallest independent bell tower in the world, which was built in memory of Joseph Chamberlain, the founder of the school.
The Conservatory of Music was founded by Edward Elgar, who was the first professor. Its precious manuscript is now in the school. The university has Lapworth geological museum and Barber Academy of Fine Arts.
