Close relatives within two generations are generally examined (at present, political review generally does not need three generations, that is, grandparents are not needed, and close relatives within two generations specifically include parents, brothers and sisters, spouses, etc. If you apply for special positions, such as police and prison, you need to prove that your next of kin has no criminal record within three generations.
Unqualified political examination:
(1) Spreading politically incorrect remarks and writing, editing, publishing or publishing politically incorrect words or works;
(2) Having been subjected to criminal punishment, reeducation through labor, asylum education or administrative detention; Those who were over 14 and under 16 at the time of committing the crime are not subject to criminal punishment according to law, or those who committed serious illegal acts before 18 are not serious enough for criminal punishment;
(3) Being under investigation for being suspected of violating discipline and law, or being investigated, prosecuted or tried;
(4) Being expelled from public office, ordered to resign, expelled from school, expelled from the Party, kept on probation, or expelled from the Party for serious mistakes;
(5) Tattoos showing signs of criminal gangs of underworld nature, which are detrimental to the national image and social morality;
(6) Having close ties with people with complex political backgrounds abroad and being politically suspicious.
The examination of collateral blood relatives within three generations of candidates is only applicable to special departments and positions such as public security law.
