"The Way of University" is the first sentence at the beginning of the Confucian classic "University". University was originally an article in the Book of Rites. Song people took it out of the Book of Rites and matched it with The Analects of Confucius, Mencius and The Doctrine of the Mean. By the time Zhu wrote the Notes on Four Books, it had become one of the "Four Books".
