Guangzhou University:

The school has a large scale and a complete range of disciplines. There are 26 colleges and 69 undergraduate majors, covering ten disciplines such as history, philosophy, law, education, literature, science, engineering, economics, management and art. There are 20,948 full-time undergraduates and 2,565 doctoral and master students. At present, the school has three first-level doctoral programs and nearly 20 doctoral programs in two disciplines.

Shenzhen University:

1983 was established with the approval of the State Council. 1995 passed the first batch of national undergraduate teaching qualification assessment, and 1996 was approved by the State Council Academic Degrees Committee as a master's degree awarding unit. 1997 implements the college system, and defines the school-running idea of giving priority to undergraduate education and actively developing postgraduate education. In 2000, the school-running goal of changing from simple teaching to teaching and scientific research was established.

Faculty and staff of Shenzhen University:

1. By June, 2022, there were 4,027 teaching and administrative staff, including 2,594 full-time teachers (596 professors and 753 associate professors), 598 technicians and 835 administrators.

2. Postdoctoral students 1426, 756 full-time researchers and 99 visiting professors. There are 23 academicians of China Academy of Sciences and Academy of Engineering (including 9 short-term employees) and 22 foreign academicians (including 9 short-term employees).

3. The full-time high-level talent team includes 3 chief scientists of the National "973 Plan", 20 winners of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, 27 winners of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, and "Outstanding Talents in the New Century" of the Ministry of Education 12.
