What contribution did Cai Hesen make in the history of China?
Major achievements:

Cai Hesen was the first person who put forward the idea of "formally establishing China's * * * production party". Cai Hesen systematically expounded the theory, line, principles and organizational principles of Party building. Together with Xiang Jingyu, Zhou Enlai, Zhao Shiyan, Deng Xiaoping and Li Fuchun, he established the early organization of China * * * Production Party in Europe and was one of the founders of the Party. Cai Hesen clearly pointed out that in order to develop the China revolution, the * * * production party must be established. Cai Hesen thinks: First, this party must be a proletarian revolutionary party and the "vanguard and war department" of the proletariat. Second, the Party must take Marxism as its guiding ideology. Third, the party must take a radical revolutionary approach and oppose reformism. The fundamental problem of thorough revolution is to mobilize the masses of workers and peasants to seize political power, smash the old state machine and "practice proletarian dictatorship". Fourth, the party must keep close contact with the masses. Fifth, this party should have iron discipline.

In the * * * cooperation, Cai Hesen supported the cooperation between the * * * production party and the Kuomintang, but stressed the need to maintain the independence of the party. Cai Hesen raised the issue of establishing peasant armed forces, pointed out the importance of "armed form of peasant movement", and pointed out that the working class is the "new motive force" and "pillar" of China revolution, and only by relying on it can we complete the mission of the national revolution. Cai Hesen stressed that we must attach importance to revolutionary armed forces, and the fundamental problem lies in arming farmers. Concentrate on developing the workers' and peasants' movement, strengthen the workers' and peasants' armed forces, solve the problem of farmers' land, and resolutely counter the reactionaries.

At the August 7th meeting, Cai Hesen and Mao Zedong criticized Chen Duxiu's right-leaning mistakes and made self-criticism at the meeting. Cai Hesen insisted on launching the agrarian revolution and armed against the reactionary rule of the Kuomintang. At the same time, Mao Zedong was proposed to participate in the Political Bureau of the Central Committee.

19 18 years, Cai Hesen, Mao Zedong and others set up Xinmin Society with the aim of "innovating academics, sharpening conduct and improving folk customs", which was one of the earliest revolutionary groups established before the May 4th Movement.

1925, led the May 30th Movement.

Cai Hesen, an adjunct professor in the Department of Sociology of Shanghai University, comprehensively compiled and published the book "History of Social Evolution". This book uses Engels' The Origin of Family, Private Ownership and State and Darwin's theory of social evolution to demonstrate the inevitable law of social development and publicize the basic principles of historical materialism. It is the first history of social development written by China people with Marxist historical materialism, and it is the foundation work of this kind of works.
