Poor students should adhere to the "three basic principles" when looking for a job.
The "poor students" mentioned here refer to those students whose academic performance is average, or who have failed the CET-4 and CET-6 and are obviously at a disadvantage in job hunting. In fact, there are many such students in colleges and universities. The author is also a poor student in the eyes of teachers, and his comprehensive performance has always been hovering in the middle and lower reaches. But I am the first student in my class to formally sign a contract, and my work unit is also better among my classmates at present.
Have confidence
When I was at the job fair, many applicants were graduate students, because the conditions provided by the magazine were very generous and the number of applicants was large. But I did not hesitate to submit my carefully prepared resume. Regardless of whether you will succeed in the end, you must have confidence when submitting your resume. At the job fair, some students with poor grades don't even have the courage to submit resumes to well-known enterprises or multinational companies. They always think that it is futile and completely unnecessary to vote on their own achievements. Except for some units with special requirements, most units will not ask you how much you must achieve. On the contrary, if your resume scores are poor, it just shows that you have confidence in the employer. As long as you meet the requirements in other aspects, you can also win yourself a chance to succeed.
Be honest.
During my job interview, the examiner looked at my report card and asked me, "I can see from your report card that your academic performance is not good." Why do you have to attach a transcript? " I sincerely said, "My professional grades are really not very good, but that's just my exam results. I believe that my work performance is not necessarily related to my academic performance. " "The examiner nodded and expressed satisfaction with my answer.
Find out your strengths or specialties.
I am an English major, but I am good at writing. My resume was submitted by a magazine. Therefore, when I wrote my resume and cover letter, I specially highlighted my strong points and attached dozens of weighty works published by my college as evidence. Facts have proved that this is much better than attaching a lot of various award certificates at random. No matter how bad the grades are, students also have their own advantages and specialties. When applying for a job, they should try to tap these bright spots. If you feel that you have many advantages or specialties, then choose one that is most closely related to the job you are currently asking for to emphasize.
