Founded in the early 1950s, the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Qilu Hospital is the earliest approved doctoral program in obstetrics and gynecology in the State Council, and also a key discipline in Shandong Province, enjoying a high reputation in the academic field of obstetrics and gynecology in China. At present, there are four specialties: gynecology, obstetrics, family planning and reproductive medicine, with 1 12 sickbeds, four laboratories of molecular biology, perinatal medicine, reproductive medicine and ultrasound medicine, and the editorial department of the national academic journal Progress in Gynecology and Obstetrics. The number of outpatients in this discipline was 6,543.8+0.2 million, the number of inpatients was 5,000, and the number of operations was 3,000. It is one of the large obstetrics and gynecology medical institutions in China. In teaching, I have been responsible for the classroom teaching, clinical probation and practical teaching of five-year and seven-year medical majors, nursing majors and undergraduates in Shandong University. Since the Ninth Five-Year Plan, 36 master students and 30 doctoral students have been trained. Received 260 advanced students in obstetrics and gynecology from inside and outside the province. In scientific research, it has undertaken the Sino-Japanese cooperation and international cooperation project 1, 4 national natural fund projects, provincial and ministerial projects 18, bureau-level projects 15, and 8 academy-level projects, and applied for more than 3 million yuan in scientific research funds. In the past five years, * * * has completed 20 scientific research projects, of which 18 was awarded by provincial and ministerial governments. The journal Progress in Obstetrics and Gynecology was first published on 14. It has been rated as an excellent journal in Shandong Province, an excellent academic journal in six provinces and one city in East China, a statistical source journal of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and a national medical core journal. He has hosted three national academic conferences on the new progress of obstetrics and gynecology, which has had a great influence in domestic academic circles. At present, there are 5 doctors1person in this discipline, including 2 professors1person, 4 doctoral supervisors, 2 associate senior titles1person and 9 intermediate titles, including 22 doctors and 6 masters. All doctors under the age of 45 are doctors (92.0%) or masters (8.0%), including 2 doctoral supervisors, 3 professors and 0/3 associate professors/kloc. At present, an academic echelon with reasonable structure and high level has been established.
