Detailed rules for the implementation of credit system charges in University of Shanghai for Science and Technology
Shanggong [2010] No.36 document
In order to further standardize the management of credit system fees in schools, these rules are formulated according to the Notice of Shanghai Higher Education Commission, Shanghai Price Bureau and Shanghai Finance Bureau on the Trial Implementation of Credit System Fees, combined with the actual situation of schools.
First, the charging principle
After the implementation of the credit system, the total tuition fees paid by students in this college (excluding the tuition fees for repeating courses and studying credits beyond the training plan) are not higher than the total tuition fees for the implementation of the academic year system. According to the standard total credits of the credit system (determined by the annual professional training plan) and the credits of various courses, the school will convert them into the charging standards of each credit according to the charging standards of the academic year system stipulated by the state.
Second, the charging time limit
The school collects tuition fees according to the academic performance of the courses that students actually participated in that year. At the beginning of each academic year, the school will charge the tuition fee for the new academic year in advance according to the professional nature and academic year charging standard, and settle the annual tuition fee according to the credits actually completed by the students in the previous academic year. Before the students graduate, the school will settle all the actual expenses according to the total scores of the students' courses.
Third, the calculation of costs.
The part of students' grades (formal first professional credits) that does not exceed the planned study shall be calculated according to the unit price of credits. For students beyond the provisions of the professional training plan part of the unplanned learning credit charges, the school according to the level of the unit price of professional credits at the time of enrollment in each grade, to be approved separately. See the attached table for specific charging standards.
1. Extra-planned elective courses and resumption fees.
After the implementation of the credit system, the total tuition fee for students in the professional training program (regular first major) is not higher than the original academic year system. Students who minor in the second major (degree) exceed the planned study credits and still fail to pass the make-up exam, and need to study the same course again, which belongs to the category of unplanned study. See the attached table for the charging standard.
2. Fees after the change of student status
Students who have been upgraded from junior college to other departments will be charged according to the standards required for major change, and the credits selected after their formal major change will be counted. The fees for the credits previously taken are still calculated according to the original professional standards.
Fourth, the refund method
1. Students who apply for withdrawal within two weeks after the start of the course will not be counted as credits and will not be charged.
2. Students who drop out of school for personal reasons after two weeks of classes, regardless of the actual situation, will be charged according to the facts.
3. Students who drop out of school for some reason will settle their tuition fees according to the unit price of credits and the scores they have learned.
Verb (short for verb) others
1. These rules follow the principle of "new students use new methods and old students use old methods". Students enrolled in 2008 and before shall be implemented according to the original method, and students enrolled in 2009 and after shall be implemented as of 20 10.
2. If there are any deficiencies in these rules, the Academic Affairs Office and the Finance Office shall be responsible for the interpretation.
