Buy food and cook, make friends, travel around, and grow up independently for a year. Kumamoto's special features are convenient life, low price, quiet residence on the low floor, specialized hospitals everywhere, busy downtown, fresh vegetables and fruits, and cheap cosmetics.
The school has a long history, teachers and classmates have different personalities, and they are good at after-school work and various special activities in the city. Although they are familiar with the environment at first, they are very confused when they encounter the once-in-a-century Kumamoto earthquake, but one year's study is a wonderful experience.
In addition to community activities, school celebrations and other campus activities, we also hold various welcome parties (performances, games, chats, meals ... as shown below), New Year's parties (richer self-help) and trips (free or preferential) for international students from time to time.
The origin of Kumamoto University:
Kumamoto University originated from Baolian period1July, 756, and was established as the "Fanzi Garden" of the School of Pharmacy by Kumamoto's vassal, Shigehiro Hosokawa, with a history of more than 260 years.
Its predecessor, Kumamoto Medical University, was a member of Japan's top university group "Laoliu Medical University" at that time (seven emperors and six medical universities, two liberal arts universities, two engineering universities and two business universities).
The school has always been internationally renowned for its excellent scientific research strength, and the world's first AIDS treatment drug AZT was successfully developed by Yukiya Yumin of the school in 1985. He won the "Purple Ribbon Award" in 2007 and the "Japan Academy Award" in 20 15, and was nominated as a Nobel Prize candidate for many times.
In addition, Professor Kawamura of the Advanced Magnesium Alloy International Research Center of our school developed the world's only noncombustible magnesium alloy "Xiongda noncombustible magnesium alloy" and won the "Purple Ribbon Award" in 20 17.
