1. Southwest University is located at the foot of Jinyun Mountain in Beibei District, Chongqing. It is a key university under the national "2 1 1 Engineering" and "985 Engineering Advantage Discipline Innovation Platform" 1 1 Plan. The school consists of Southwest Normal University, a university directly under the former Ministry of Education, and the western part of a key university directly under the former Ministry of Agriculture. In 2022, the school was merged and formed. The original two schools were built adjacent to each other and have the same root.
