Columbia University in the city of new york, referred to as Columbia University for short, is a world-famous research university located in the Upper West Side of Manhattan, new york, USA. It was established in 1754 according to the King's Charter promulgated by King George II of England. It belongs to one of the eight private Ivy League schools and consists of three undergraduate schools and thirteen graduate schools.
