Chinese Marine University
China Ocean University is a comprehensive university and one of the first key universities to enter the national "2 1 1 Project" and "985 Project", with strong science and engineering.
China Ocean University was founded on 1959. 1960 was identified by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China as one of the national 13 key comprehensive universities. 1988 was renamed as Qingdao Ocean University, and officially renamed as China Ocean University in 2002. China Ocean University has 19 colleges and a basic teaching center.
