The school is a full-time undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education and the Shandong Provincial People's Government. In June 2005, with the approval of the Ministry of Education and the Shandong Provincial People's Government, Shandong Normal University and Inspur Group cooperated to establish Lishan College of Shandong Normal University.
