The largest and most comprehensive university. Nanjing University has a very long history, which can be traced back to Sanjiang Normal College founded by Zhang Zhidong and his friends in 1902. After the name change, it was renamed as "National Central University" by Jiangsu University on 1928, which was the most complete and largest university in China at that time.
