Yanda Medical College is an established undergraduate medical college in Shaanxi, which is quite famous in Shaanxi, especially in northern Shaanxi. Besides Jiaotong University and the Fourth Military Medical University, Yanda Medical College is the earliest medical college in Shaanxi. Originally located in majiawan Independent Campus, it has now moved to Yan 'an University Yang Jialing Campus. The infrastructure of the Yang Jialing campus is much stronger than that of the previous majiawan campus.

The teaching staff is more than enough for the undergraduate stage of medical education. In terms of postgraduate education, the medical college has several teaching bases in Xi 'an, including provincial students, which is not bad compared with Xi 'an Medical College. The way of studying in college and high school is completely different, and the practice is all in the individual.

Brief introduction of medical college of Yan 'an University;

The medical college of Yan 'an University was formerly the Medical Department of Yan 'an University, and its school-running history can be traced back to the Medical Department of Northern Shaanxi Public School in War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression's time, and it was restored and rebuilt in 1959. Yan 'an Medical College was relocated and expanded on the basis of the original Medical Department of Yanda University with the approval of the State Council in 1978. Directly led by the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Education, officially enrolled students 1985.

1In August, 1998, the Ministry of Education and the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government decided to merge the Medical College with Yan 'an University to form a new Yan 'an University, which was renamed the Medical College of Yan 'an University.
