There are 3 1 universities in China, which are designated by the state as vice-ministerial universities. The party secretaries and presidents of these universities are all vice-ministerial universities. Except for 3 1 deputy ministerial-level universities in China, ordinary undergraduate courses are generally at the official department level. It is equivalent to the level of secretary and mayor of prefecture-level cities. Now university presidents have corresponding administrative levels. Among them, the presidents of 365 and 438+0 universities are deputy ministerial level, the presidents of general universities are director level, and the presidents of some smaller local universities are deputy bureau level or director level.

The administrative levels of the above 3 1 colleges and universities are all deputy ministerial level (generally, colleges and universities above undergraduate level are bureau level, and colleges and universities are deputy bureau level. By the end of June, 2005, there were only 3 1 colleges and universities at the deputy ministerial level, from which we can see the administrative status of the schools and the importance attached by the state, plus 32 national universities of defense technology at the deputy military level.
