Ningbo University is a comprehensive university located in Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province. Its predecessor was Ningbo Normal University, which was founded in 1986. Up to now, it has become a multidisciplinary university integrating science, engineering, management, literature, law and teaching. At present, Ningbo University, jointly established by Zhejiang provincial government and Ministry of Education, is a national key university with undergraduate education as the mainstay and postgraduate education as the support.

By the end of 2022, there were11"Project 2 1 1" colleges and universities in China. These universities are generally well-known comprehensive universities in China, aiming at cultivating high-quality, innovative and practical talents. Although Ningbo University has made remarkable progress in teaching, scientific research and social services, it is not a "2 1 1 engineering" university.

As a comprehensive university, Ningbo University is in a prominent position among similar universities in Zhejiang Province, both in scale and strength. By 2022, Ningbo University has two campuses and 27 secondary colleges in China, with more than 2,800 faculty members, including more than 60% professors. In addition, Ningbo University has a group of high-level scientific research teams and first-class equipment and facilities, and has trained a large number of outstanding graduates, which are well received by employers and society.

In a word, although Ningbo University is not a "2 1 1 engineering" university, its remarkable progress in teaching, scientific research and social services is enough to prove its important position in the field of higher education in China. In the future, I believe that Ningbo University will make greater contributions to cultivating more outstanding talents and promoting social progress through continuous efforts to the next level.
