By the end of 20 18 and 12, the school had 2 national key laboratories,/kloc-0 national engineering laboratories, 3 national engineering (technology) research centers, 26 provincial and ministerial laboratories and research institutes, 3 Shanghai humanities and social sciences think tanks (bases) and more than 60 university-level research institutions, built the National University Science Park, and joined the. It is one of the first six universities in China to establish a national technology transfer center, and was selected as one of the first national technology transfer demonstration institutions.

The library of East China University of Science and Technology was founded in June of 1952 and 10, and now it consists of Xuhui Campus Library, Fengxian Campus Library and Jinshan Third-line Stack Room, with a total area of 46,000 square meters.
