Chengdu University of Science and Technology is a university that no longer exists. At that time, it was three universities directly under the Chinese Academy of Sciences (the other two were China University of Science and Technology and Zhejiang University), which was quite awesome. 1994 merged with Sichuan university. At that time, there was no engineering concept of 2 1 1, including Chengdu University of Technology (science and engineering), Sichuan University (arts and sciences) and West China University of Medical Sciences (medicine).
Sichuan University, a university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC), has been selected into "201/plan", "Everest plan", "11plan", "excellent engineer education and training plan" and "overseas high-level talent introduction plan". Sichuan University was founded in 1896 by Lu, Governor of Sichuan Province, and is the earliest modern institution of higher learning in southwest China. In 2000, Sichuan University merged with the former West China University of Medical Sciences to form a new Sichuan University. In the past century, the school has gathered historians Gu Jiegang, writer Li, aesthetician Zhu Guangqian, physicist, botanist Fang Wenpei, hygienist Chen, mathematician Ke Zhao and other masters.
