Suzhou University, referred to as "Suda", is located in Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province. It developed from Soochow University founded by 1900. It was jointly established by the people's government of Jiangsu Province and the central government. It is the first batch of universities listed in the national "2 1 1 Project" and "20 165438 Plan".
