This paper describes the route determined in the fourth phase planning of Hangzhou Metro as of April 2023. And predict the new line after the revision of the fourth phase of the subway plan in July 2023.

1. As of April 2023, the route of the fourth phase of Hangzhou Metro has been defined.

Extension cable:

1, extension line 1, that is, north extension/south extension of 10 line: the north extension starts from Yisheng Road Station (excluding) and ends at Renhe South Station.

2. Extension Line 2, that is, the west extension of Line 2: The line starts from Pingyao Station in Yuhang District and ends at Liangzhu Station (excluding).

3. Extension Line 3:4 extends westward to Yuncheng (via Yungu Unit to the vicinity of West Station). The south extension of Line 4 extends southward to Yan Wen. The west extension starts from Chihua Street Station (excluding) and ends at Lianjutang Station.

4. Extension Line 4, that is, the eastward extension of Line 3: The eastward extension of Line 3 runs through Linping (it will continue northward to Canal Street in the long run).

The line starts from Xingqiao Road Station (excluding) and ends at Linping Xingguang Street Station.

5. Extension Line 5, that is, the west extension of Line 5: runs through Nanhu to Zhijiang Laboratory.

6. Extend Line 6, that is, the northern extension of Line 9: The northern extension of Line 9 first goes north, and then goes west to Tangqi.

7. Extension Line 7, namely 10 Line North Extension Phase II: north to Renhe North Station and north to Deqing (Hangde Line).

New line:

1, newly-built line 1, that is, planned line 18 (express line): the planned line 18 (express line) runs from Xiaoshan Joy-Binjiang-Qianjiang New City-Chengdong New City-Linping.

2. New Line 2, namely Planning Line 15: Planning Line 15 goes to Xiaoshan Southern New City-Xiaoshan Northern Century City-Jianghehui-Tangsan-Canal New City-Chongxian New City.

3. Newly-built Line 3, namely the planned line 13: The line starts from Xitacun Station and ends at Songjiawan Road Station.

4. Newly-built Line 4, i.e. planned route 12: the route is Shuangpu-Zhuantang-Xiaoheshan-Xianlin-Future Science and Technology City-West Station-Yuncheng, and the completed part (Xiangshan-Academy of Fine Arts Shuangpu) is currently a branch line of Line 6.

5. Newly build Line 5, that is, planning line 1 1 (part): planning line 1 1 The general direction is Hezhuang-Xiaoshan Science and Technology City-Qianjiang Century City-Xiaoshan North-Binjiang-Sanjianghui.

Second, in July 2023, the fourth phase of the subway plan was revised and the new line was predicted.

The mileage of the first edition of Hangzhou Metro Phase IV is 299.8km, which is reduced by146.9km, which is equivalent to being cut by nearly half. Compared with the projects publicized in the first edition of EIA, the reduced part is most likely to be "resurrected". Let's take a look at the route:

1 Line West Extension and Line 2: Pingyao Station-Liangzhu Station was originally planned. The line starts from Pingyao in Yuhang District and ends in Liangzhu. The length of the line is about 6.8km, all of which are underground. This line serves Pingyao and Liangzhu Group.

2.5 line west extension: originally planned as Nanhu East Station-Zhijiang Laboratory Station, extension line 5 starts from Zhijiang Laboratory Station and ends at Laoyuhang Station (excluding), and is laid along Zhiyi Road and Fengxin Road. The line is about 4.8km long, all underground, with 2 stations, and no new depot and main transformer.

South Extension of Line 3.6: This project starts from Guihua West Road in Fuyang District and ends at Yang in Fuyang District. The original plan was to station Yang on Guihua West Road. The length of the line is about 10.6km, all of which are underground. This project passes through the north and south of Fuchun River in Fuyang City and connects with Fuyang high-speed railway station.

4. Line south extension 10: It was originally planned as Suoqian Station-Zhejiang University Station. The line starts in front of Xiaoshan District Station and ends at Zhejiang University. The total length of the line is about 34. 1km, all underground. This line connects Dacheng North, Zhejiang University, West Lake Scenic Area, Zhijiang, Sanjianghui, Hu Xiang and Sleeping City in the south of Xiaoshan.

5. Line 1 1: Originally planned as Jiren Road Station-Exhibition Center Station, the line starts from Jiren Road and ends at Exhibition Center, with a length of about 26.5km, all of which are underground. All routes are located in Xiaoshan District, passing through the Grand Exhibition Center, Juneng City, Asian Games Village and the new campus of Provincial Women's Insurance.

6. 13 line: originally planned as Xita Village Station-Songjiawan Road Station, the line starts from Xita Village and ends at Songjiawan Road, with a length of about 16.3km, all of which are underground. The line is located in Yuhang District, passing through Yuhang Street, Xianlin Street and Wuchang Street.

7. 14 Line: It was originally planned as Baijiayuan Road Station-Chongxian North Station. The line starts from Baijiayuan Road and ends at Chongxian North, with a total length of 26km, all of which are underground. Along the way, it passes through Xixi Wetland, Xikeyuan, Sandun Area, Canal New Town, Wisdom Net Valley, Hangzhou Steel New Town and Chongxian Area.

8. Line 2 1: It was originally planned as Yangjiaqiao Station of Medicine Port Town Station. Metro Line 2 1 is a river-crossing line, connecting jiangdong district in Qiantang District and Xiasha District, only located in Qiantang District.
