The overall ratio should be 50/50. However, the ratio of male to female varies greatly between different colleges. For example, in my institute of electrical engineering, the typical situation is that Yang flourishes and Yin declines. There are more than 30 people in our class, only two women-they haven't evolved successfully yet. But it is different for foreign language schools, and their situation will be reversed.
