Reflections on Hongyan
I read the book Red Rock for the first time today. I have always been in awe of this good book. I didn't expect to have the opportunity to read the pages of this red book carefully after participating in this essay competition. Just look at the words on the cover: "Red our flag with blood", and the young heart will boil and want to return to that era when ideals and beliefs occupied everything!
On the eve of liberation, the struggle situation in the Kuomintang-controlled areas was very severe. When I saw the footage of Jie Jiang sending medicine to the guerrillas when he returned home, his eyes couldn't help wetting ... The rainy and foggy city gate and the bloody head in the wooden cage caught Jiang Jie's eye. She tried her best to calm herself down, looked at the list of victims and suddenly found her husband's name on the first line! I can't imagine what it's like to suddenly lose someone. How should a weak woman bear such a big blow? It is described in the book that Jiang Jie's eyes are full of tears, his chest is blocked, and he is afraid and unwilling to look again. She couldn't help crying out loud. A burst of dizziness made her unable to gain a foothold ... but the strong Jiang Jie immediately thought that she was shouldering the task entrusted by the party, and she had no right to express her inner pain here, and she had no right to stay. Her footsteps kept stepping into the mud, and the water and mud stirred up all the way splashed all over her shoes and socks, but she didn't know it at all. She is full of grief and indignation, and wants to bury the unforgettable pain deeply into her heart. Gradually, the eyes staring at the front finally replaced the tears that never flowed. The hatred hidden in her heart is more than tears and deeper than pain! Jiang Jie is a great woman and a strong fighter. She was tortured by the enemy for many days in Zhazidong concentration camp, and her indomitable spirit gave endless motivation to all her comrades there. The bamboo stick was nailed into every fingertip, and blood splashed. Our beloved Jiang Jie didn't make a sound, but she didn't know how much pain she had experienced ... It was she, a woman from party member, who calmly announced in front of the enemy that victory would always belong to us!
Hongyan spirit, like a bright red flag, inspires generations of enthusiastic young people to struggle for their ideals and beliefs. Countless sense of honor * * * produced a batch after batch of party member, defended the party's dignity and secrets with life and blood, cooperated with the armed struggle, and dealt a heavy blow to the enemy's reactionary arrogance. It is because of their efforts that * * * and the country's prosperity and peace today! How easy it is to say this sentence, but how many people in China are truly grateful now? Will the next generation of education gradually forget this once earth-shattering feat and sacrifice, keep children away from blood, and will the spirit in Hongyan be lost? Or just become a mechanical reading text in primary school textbooks? I'm afraid this will happen. Because I am in college, I just feel that the atmosphere in college is not a place full of passion and dreams. On the contrary, many people are bored, empty, depressed and impetuous, and have nothing to do except study and go shopping all day. Compared with the enthusiasm of young students in the revolutionary era who are eager to acquire knowledge and devote themselves to ideals and revolution at any time, I can't help but feel ashamed of our generation. Perhaps my view is one-sided, but the pursuit of fashion and excitement is the mantra of young people at present. Looking at the colorful world in front of me, what really comes to mind is the bright red sweater on Jiang Jie's determined and thin blue cheongsam, just like a bright red flag fluttering in the wind. What should I do? How to correctly position my values and outlook on life is something I still can't understand after studying in the university for three years. Perhaps the spirit of Hongyan, which is most worthy of our college students' study, does not exist, but its specific connotation changes with the changes of the times. As contemporary college students, we should have lofty aspirations and strive to build a more prosperous China and realize our own values! Perhaps faith is not as important as it was then, but the same goal has been pulling people who have worked hard for it to persevere and struggle!
Zhao Changping's heroic deeds of fighting gangsters on the railway campus have become a household name in Central and South China, and I admire him from the bottom of my heart. Not only does he add luster to us Central South people, but also to our young people. More importantly, I deeply felt a kind of tenacity and belief. I seem to see Jie Jiang's thin but tall figure before his death from his persistent smile when he was injured in bed. This is the Hongyan spirit inherited from the new era, which deserves every college student to ask himself and think seriously: how to establish true faith and fight for it? ! Hongyan, the flag dyed red with blood, will always fly in my heart and lead me forward.
