How about applied chemistry?
I am a sophomore, majoring in chemical engineering. This major is probably the most widely studied subject in the Institute of Chemical Technology. Learning everything means learning nothing. Generally, students who apply for chemical engineering will basically take the postgraduate entrance examination after graduation.

In terms of employment, the employment rate of applied chemistry is between 80% and 90%, which is considered as a major with better employment rate among chemistry majors. At present, the state focuses on supporting the research and development of new energy and new materials, which are inseparable from applied chemistry, which also leaves more room for the development of applied chemistry. You know, our life is also inseparable from applied chemistry. Therefore, this major is a good one in terms of development prospects and social needs. If you continue to pursue further studies after graduation, the development space will be broader. Traditionally, a large number of graduates majoring in applied chemistry have entered the chemical industry, metallurgical industry, pharmaceutical industry, food, inspection and quarantine, energy, environmental protection and other industries to engage in related work.

For freshmen who have just entered the applied chemistry industry, they should try their best to do well in their academic performance and get more scholarships. This is also hard currency in universities. After studying, think about what they want to do in the future. After all, they still have to work in the future.
