Naval Engineering University generally refers to PLA Naval Engineering University. Founded in 1949, 165438+ 10, and 1963, it was designated as a national key university and a key construction institution of the whole army. It is a multi-disciplinary and multi-level naval institution of higher learning that combines engineering with management, technology with command.
The school has five first-level disciplines (including 15 two disciplines), six independent two disciplines master's degree authorization points, five first-level disciplines (including 25 two disciplines) and three independent two disciplines doctoral degree authorization points, and has seven post-doctoral research stations.

There are 5 training venues, the school library has more than one million books, and more than 3,300 Chinese and foreign periodicals are ordered every year. Since the reform and development, the school's foreign exchange activities have gradually increased. At present, it has established good cooperative relations with Tsinghua University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology and other famous universities in China, such as cultivating master students and doctoral students and carrying out scientific research cooperation.
