2. Tianjin Foreign Studies University (hereinafter referred to as "Tianjin Foreign Studies University" and "Tianwai") is the only institution of higher learning in Tianjin with complete professional foreign languages, coordinated development of literature, economics, management, law, teaching, arts and engineering, and distinctive features. It is one of the first eight independent foreign language institutions in China.
