Tsinghua University campus is basically a whole, rectangular, 2.5 kilometers long from north to south and 2 kilometers wide from east to west. Located in Haidian District, Beijing, between the North Fourth Ring Road and the North Fifth Ring Road, it is adjacent to the subway 13 line in the east and Peking University and Yuanmingyuan in the west. In addition, Guanghua Road Campus, Nuclear Research Institute (Changping, Beijing), Shenzhen Graduate School, affiliated hospitals and a small number of sanatoriums and staff residences are located outside the headquarters.
In addition to the main campus of Yanyuan, there are six campuses in Peking University today, namely, Medical College Campus, Changping Campus, Shenzhen Campus, Daxing Campus and Yuanmingyuan Campus. The campus of medical college was originally the campus of Beijing Medical University. The predecessor of Beijing Medical University is Peking University Medical College. 1950 became an independent Beijing Medical College, and then moved to Xueyuan Road, Haidian District, Beijing, becoming one of the "Eight Universities". 19 12 10, Tsinghua School was renamed as Tsinghua College, which belongs to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Beijing Government and covers an area of more than 450 mu. 1937, the school area increased to 1600 mu, with a total construction area of 654.38+10,000 square meters. The school has a large number of departments, such as biology hall, meteorological station, electrical engineering hall, chemistry hall and machinery hall.
During the period of 1946- 1948, the national Tsinghua University * * trained 5 14 undergraduates and 5 postgraduates.
