Brief introduction of Yunnan University of Finance and Economics:

Yunnan University of Finance and Economics, referred to as "Cai Yun University", is located in Kunming. It is a key university in Yunnan Province, an overall construction university of high-level universities in Yunnan Province, a key organization unit of social practice activities for college students nationwide, a national demonstration university for deepening the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education, and a scholarship receiving institution for international students in China.

It was selected as the first batch of "teacher-student exchange program between Hong Kong and mainland universities" by the Ministry of Education, the training base for international business officials by the Ministry of Commerce, and the national innovation and entrepreneurship training program for college students.

It is a multi-disciplinary and high-level financial and economic teaching and research university with economy and management as the main disciplines and nine disciplines, such as law, philosophy, literature, science, engineering and art, intersecting and developing in a coordinated way. It has the qualification to recommend outstanding undergraduate graduates to study for graduate students without examination.

Yunnan University of Finance and Economics, formerly known as Yunnan Finance Cadre School, was founded in 195 1. 1979, set up specialized courses in finance and trade to recruit junior college students; 198 1 Yunnan institute of finance and trade was established with the approval of the Ministry of education to start full-time undergraduate education; 1995 was identified as a provincial key university by the Yunnan provincial government; 1998 merged with Yunnan Economic Management Cadre College.

In 2006, it was renamed Yunnan University of Finance and Economics with the approval of the Ministry of Education; 20 13 became a doctoral authorized unit, and 20 14 won the first postdoctoral mobile station.
