Harbin Institute of Technology, referred to as Harbin Institute of Technology, is a national key university located in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, China. The school was founded in 1920, formerly known as China-Russia Institute of Technology, and it is one of the earliest institutions of higher learning in Northeast China. 1950, the school was renamed Harbin Institute of Technology.
