2. Guangdong Finance College was founded in 1950, formerly known as Banking College of South China Branch of China People's Bank, and managed by the head office of China People's Bank; In 2000, after the reform of university management system, the central and local governments jointly managed, with Guangdong Province as the main management. In May 2004, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, it was officially upgraded to an undergraduate college.
