An analysis of the preparatory course and academic system for studying abroad in Russia
The level of higher education in Russia has always been in the forefront of the world. For those who study in Russia, it is easier to apply for preparatory courses, and it is easier to choose universities in the future. The following is an introduction about Russian preparatory study, hoping to help you.

First, the preparatory courses and academic system for studying in Russia

Almost all Russian universities offer preparatory courses for foreigners, including prestigious schools and various local universities. Although the general preparatory school system is written as one year, in fact, the study time is only about 8 months. This year is divided into two semesters, starting from September 1 of the first year and ending the first semester in February 12 3 1, and then having a winter vacation (but some universities have shorter winter vacations, because considering that eight months may not be enough for students to study, for example, the winter vacation of Ural Federal University is only ten days, and classes are held as usual at other times). Generally, the winter vacation lasts for 40 days from 65438+1 October1February, and then starts from February 1 1 June1May. Two semesters are four months each and eight months each, so you must not think that time is enough. It takes effort to reach the communication level in eight months.

The preparatory course generally consists of two parts: the Russian part and the professional part. The Russian part, as its name implies, is to learn Russian, and the course revolves around the topic of "learning Russian". The "major" part is to provide students with guidance for the entrance examination of the selected major. Different majors have different entrance examination requirements, but the school will train them.

Among them, some Russian courses consist of five courses: reading, listening, writing, grammar and oral English. Half-year/one-and-a-half-year preparatory course corresponds to 300/600/900 class hours, and each class hour is a 45-minute course, which is calculated as one-year preparatory course. The allocation of 600 class hours to each day is: 600 class hours ÷ 8 months ÷ 2 1 day = 3.5 class hours, which means that there are about 2-3 Russian classes every day from Monday to Friday (each class is about 90 minutes).

In the "major" part of the course, make-up courses are arranged according to the major that students want to enter (see the table below for the complete requirements of professional entrance examination). For example, if you need to study computer science in the department of mathematics, then the subjects you need to take in the department are: mathematics, informatics, Russian and Russian. This course has been provided above, so the rest of the general professional courses of "Mathematics" and "Russian" have 300 class hours, and since my second semester in Russia (because I didn't understand Russian well in the first semester), most of the contents I taught are high schools and junior high schools. For example, the course of Mathematics has been taught in our preparatory department of Ural Federal University for two months. What I teach (undergraduate students entering the department) are simple problems such as derivative and trigonometric function. Generally speaking, the college entrance examination for foreigners, whether in Moscow University, St. Petersburg State University or Ural Federal University, or in other universities, is much easier than the national college entrance examination, because schools need to take care of the level of most foreigners, and generally only need to attend classes well, not miss classes, listen carefully in class without playing with mobile phones, and pass in one year, as simple as that.

Second, the introduction of Russian preparatory courses for studying abroad

Russian college preparatory course is generally in the Russian department of our school, and students are taught from Russian by experienced teachers of Russian department. There are many kinds of preparatory courses, ranging from half a year to one and a half years, but the one-year preparatory course is the most chosen. Within a year, teachers should teach students to know Russian letters from the alphabet, and then conduct simple elementary English speaking, grammar, listening and writing. At the end of the preparatory course, students are required to master basic Russian grammar, oral English, listening and writing skills, so as to "be able to have a simple Russian conversation, understand the teacher's lectures, have a certain understanding of Russian history, culture and society, have a certain understanding of Russian grammar and make basic grammatical mistakes."

Third, the advantages of studying in Russia

1. The admission requirements are simple. China high school (including graduating from this year's high school), technical secondary school, vocational high school or above, without college entrance examination results and language foundation, can directly attend the preparatory school of prestigious schools. After graduating from the preparatory course, you can go directly to the university major, and you don't need an entrance exam.

2. The teaching quality is good. The level of higher education in Russia has always been in the forefront of the world, with many world-renowned universities, such as Moscow State University, St. Petersburg State University and Kazan University. Repin Academy of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg is one of the four largest fine arts institutes in the world, which is equally famous with the Paris Academy of Fine Arts. Tchaikovsky Conservatory of Music in Moscow is one of the largest and most famous conservatories in the world. In addition, Russia's aerospace, architecture, biology, medicine and art are among the top in the world.

3. There are many important choices for colleges and universities. Comprehensive famous schools with liberal arts as the mainstay include Moscow State University, St. Petersburg State University and Kazan University. Science-oriented comprehensive universities include St. Petersburg State University of Technology, St. Petersburg Institute of Optics and Mechanics, and St. Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrument Industry.

The most famous University of Fine Arts is Repin Academy of Fine Arts, one of the world's four major academies of fine arts. Music universities such as Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory of Music and St. Petersburg National Conservatory of Music are world-famous institutions of higher learning.

World-famous medical universities include Pavlov National Medical University and Shetonov National Medical University.

4. the cost of studying abroad is low. In terms of visa application, studying in Russia is not like studying in western countries such as Europe, America and Australia, and it is necessary to provide hundreds of thousands of certificates of deposit of funds or running accounts of the past year. According to the regulations of the Russian Embassy, China students only need to provide a bank deposit certificate of 50,000 RMB or 5,000 USD to apply for a visa, which can be frozen for three months. Secondly, in terms of the cost of studying abroad, although Russian universities have adjusted their policies in recent years, the cost has increased, but the average tuition fee is still around 3,000 to 4,000 US dollars. Together with living expenses and accommodation, it is about 500,000 to 654,380,000 yuan a year, which is far lower than that of western countries.

5. The processing speed is fast. It usually takes about 2 to 3 months to apply for studying in Russia. Generally, colleges and universities issue admission notices about 1 week, and schools need to obtain entry invitations from the Russian Immigration Bureau, which usually takes 35 to 45 days. Most colleges and universities will send out the notice together with the invitation letter, and they can go to China in July and August. As long as the materials provided are true and reliable, students can successfully obtain invitations and entry visas.

6. Broad employment prospects. At present, China and Russia are highly complementary in various fields and have a wide demand for Russian talents. After President Putin took office for the second time, the first official visit was to China, and the two countries signed a number of cooperation agreements. Therefore, choosing Russia to study abroad now will certainly contribute to the cooperation and development of various fields between the two countries after graduation. In 20 15, the bilateral trade between the two countries will reach10 billion US dollars, and it will reach 200 billion US dollars in 2020, which requires a large number of outstanding talents who know both Russian and Russian national conditions.
