The women's basketball team of Inner Mongolia Rural Credit Cooperatives was established in early October19, and was qualified for WCBA League in June of the same year. Since then, the autonomous region has bid farewell to the history that no team has participated in the three major national leagues.
Team staffing is optimized and improved year by year. It introduced domestic level athletes, such as China women basketball players Yang Liwei, Huang Sijing, Ethan and Pan, and star player Yang Shuyu. It also signed back local athletes Song Ning and Li Yutong from Inner Mongolia, and hired experienced and powerful former national team players such as Shen Yi and Ma Xueya, as well as many outstanding college athletes and rising stars such as Su Yuanyuan.
The team has 26 players, including 7 coaches, 3 medical staff and 0/6 athletes (including 2 local athletes from Inner Mongolia). In recent years, the team has gradually formed a tenacious, brave and never-giving-up spirit of women's basketball in rural credit cooperatives, showing the spirit of "Mongolian horse" to the whole country.

On the afternoon of February 26th, 2023, in the second round of the 2022-2023 China Women's Basketball League playoff1/quarter finals, the women's basketball team of Inner Mongolia Rural Credit Cooperatives beat the women's basketball team of Shanxi Zhuyeqing Liquor with a record of 2: 0 and advanced to the semi-finals.
On March 1 day, Inner Mongolia Rural Credit Cooperative defeated Jiangsu Nangang 79-42 in the first round of semi-finals of the 2022-2023 China Women's Basketball League (WCBA) held in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia.
On March 7th, the WCBA finals began. Inner Mongolia women's basketball team played against Sichuan women's basketball team at home, and Inner Mongolia women's basketball team played against Sichuan women's basketball team at home, leading by 1-0 to get the match point. On March 12, in the final G3, Inner Mongolia and Sichuan met. In the end, Sichuan defeated Inner Mongolia and won the championship this season.
