4. Introduction to north china university of technology
North china university of technology (hereinafter referred to as "north china university of technology"), located in Beijing, the capital of China, is a multidisciplinary institution of higher learning with bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees. It is a key institution founded in Beijing by the people of China, the Ministry of Education and the Beijing Municipal People's Government. The "Excellent Engineer Education and Training Plan" of the Ministry of Education has been selected into the new engineering research and practice project, the national college students' innovation and entrepreneurship training plan and the national college students' cultural quality education base, and it has the qualification of recommending graduate students without examination and recruiting high-level baseball and softball players.
North china university of technology's predecessor was the National Peiping Advanced Industrial Vocational School founded in 1946. After the development stages of Beijing Industrial Iron and Steel School, Beijing Metallurgy College, Shijingshan Metallurgy College, Beijing Iron and Steel School and Beijing Metallurgy Electromechanical College, it was renamed north china university of technology on 1985. It has been subordinate to the Central Ministry of Heavy Industry, Ministry of Metallurgical Industry and China Nonferrous Metals Industry Corporation, and has been mainly managed by Beijing since September 1998.
As of April 20 19, the school covers an area of nearly 500 mu with a building area of over 400,000 square meters.
