Brief introduction of Jiangxi Normal University
Jiangxi Normal University, located in Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, is a university jointly established by the Ministry of Education and the Jiangxi Provincial People's Government. It is also an engineering university for basic capacity building in universities in the central and western regions, and was selected as the first batch of demonstration universities in China to deepen the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education.

The school was founded by National Chung Cheng University on 1940. Chung Cheng University was renamed Nanchang University/KOOC-0/949, Jiangxi Normal University/KOOC-0/953, Jinggangshan University/KOOC-0/969, Jiangxi Normal University/KOOC-0/972 and Jiangxi Normal University/KOOC-0/983. In 2003, Jiangxi Financial Workers College (Jiangxi Bank School) was merged into the school.
