People's Public Security University of China is awesome.

The People's Public Security University of China is an ordinary institution of higher learning directly under the Ministry of Public Security and a senior police officer college of the Ministry of Public Security. It is a national "world-class discipline construction university". Founded in July 1948, the Central Committee held a training course for North China security cadres in Jianping County (now Pingshan County) in Hebei Liberated Area.

Pass through North China Public Security Cadre School (1949- 1950), Central Public Security Cadre School (1950- 1953) and Central People's Public Security College (1953- 1959).

1February 1998 merged with China People's Police Officers University to form a new People's Public Security University of China (China People's Police Officers University started its undergraduate education in 1978, and its predecessor was the School of Political Science and Law of the Ministry of Public Security, 1979 was renamed the School of International Politics, and 1984 was renamed the China People's Police Officers University). In 2000, Beijing Traffic People's Police School of the Ministry of Communications was merged into the school.

The school is a comprehensive university in the public security industry. It is the first institution of higher education, the first postgraduate training and the only doctoral education in the national public security system. It is also the police college with the most comprehensive disciplines, the largest school scale and the most comprehensive education level. At present, it is the only one selected as a national "world-class discipline construction university".
