The Meng Building of the Chinese University of Hong Kong is located in the middle of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. 1998 completed, adjacent to Li Zhuomin Basic Medical Building and Science Museum Building. This is a well-equipped teaching and research building. It provides teaching, research and office for the Department of Biochemistry, the Department of Mechanical and Automation Engineering and the Institute of Mathematical Sciences, which has classrooms, lecture halls and laboratories.

Meng Lou is a scientific research building built by the Chinese University of Hong Kong with the generous donation of Dr Meng, a famous Hong Kong entrepreneur and founder of Shun Hing Group, through Shun Hing Education and Charity Fund. The Chinese University of Hong Kong specially named the building after Dr. Meng to thank Dr. Meng for his outstanding contribution in supporting the development of education and scientific research in Hong Kong.
