The following suggestions are put forward to adjust the 20XX undergraduate talent training program.

I. Guiding ideology, reform objectives and work priorities

(A) the guiding ideology

Actively adapt to the needs of the society, consciously follow the laws of higher education, internalize Scientific Outlook on Development into the school's philosophy, quality concept and talent concept, optimize the overall talent training program, constantly innovate the talent training model, unswervingly implement the three development strategies of internationalization, informationization and integration, adhere to the unity of standardization and innovation, adhere to educating people as the core, further consolidate the foundation, clearly guide, broaden the choices and strengthen practice.

(2) reform objectives

Cultivate applied talents with high quality, innovative spirit and practical ability.

(3) the focus of work

Focusing on the guiding ideology and reform objectives of talent training mode reform, the adjustment of talent training scheme is intended to solve the following four problems as a whole:

1. Adhere to the organic combination of rich foundation and clear employment orientation.

2. Adhere to the principle of "developing three industries simultaneously" and "paying equal attention to five abilities" and systematically implement capacity training.

3. Adhere to the cross-compound training mode of applied talents.

4. Establish an employment level and employment rate evaluation system based on the basic salary after graduation.

Specifically implement the following five reforms:

1. Further deepen the curriculum reform of general education.

2. Vigorously promote the integration of career development education, entrepreneurship education and second classroom activities.

3. Intensify the reform of public basic courses.

4 focus on the implementation of professional basic courses and professional curriculum reform.

5. Further improve the experimental practice teaching system.

Second, the training objectives and training mode

The overall goal of undergraduate talent training is to cultivate applied talents with all-round development in morality, intelligence, physique and beauty, optimized knowledge, ability and quality structure, adaptability and competitiveness in socialist market economy, innovative spirit and practical ability on the premise of adhering to broad caliber, strong foundation and high quality.

According to the overall talent training goal of the school, each major should put forward the specific goal of talent training for this major on the basis of comprehensive consideration and strict demonstration, aiming at the social needs, disciplines, majors, career orientation and employment levels faced by students, especially to carefully study and clarify the training specifications of each major, and fully reflect the core competitiveness of the major; According to the requirement of combining accumulation with clear employment orientation, it is not only in line with the overall requirements of the school, but also highlights the professional characteristics and comparative advantages to further clarify and accurately describe the fields, positions and industries of students' future employment in the training objectives. In principle, there is no professional direction for existing majors.

The talent training programs for all majors should fully embody the basic connotation of the reform of talent training mode advocated by the school, further improve the principles, requirements, paths and measures of "2+2" separate training, realize the combination of the first classroom and the second classroom, the combination of theoretical study and practical exercise, the combination of classroom teaching and autonomous learning, and the combination of centralized discussion and mutual exchange, implement professional education based on general education, and effectively strengthen the cultivation of students' autonomous learning, classroom discussion, experimental practice and scientific research training.

Third, the specific requirements

(1) Main contents

The professional talents training plan of each major should include: professional training objectives, training specifications, employment orientation, main curriculum, practical teaching link design, second classroom activities arrangement, study years, degree award, curriculum structure analysis table, teaching plan schedule, necessary explanations and other main contents.

Credit allocation

The total credits of four-year undergraduate majors are generally controlled at around 175 credits. Among them, the course teaching is about 160 credits (compulsory 1 18 credits, 42 credits optional); Practice teaching, second class activities, etc. are about 15 credits.

course

1. General education curriculum

According to the requirements of "communication, width, thickness and transparency" and the four modules of humanities, social sciences, natural sciences and comprehensive knowledge, it is arranged by the Academic Affairs Office in a unified way, and is offered from the second semester to the seventh semester, requiring students to complete 12 credits.

Please refer to the general education curriculum and teaching reform plan of Nanjing University of Finance and Economics for specific implementation measures.

2. Career development education courses

(1) required course: fundamentals of career development and employment, 2 credits, offered in the second and seventh semesters.

(2) Elective course: career exploration and professional quality, 1 credit; Innovative thinking and literacy, 1 credit; "KAB Venture Foundation", 2 credits; Innovation and entrepreneurship, 1 credit; Students need to complete 2 credits.

For specific implementation measures, please refer to the Implementation Opinions of Nanjing University of Finance and Economics on Promoting the Integration of Career Development Education, Entrepreneurship Education and Second Classroom Activities.

3. Public basic courses

(1) "two courses": keep the existing basic framework unchanged and offer four courses, with a total of 12 credits.

(2) College English course: Continue to implement the "platform+module" teaching reform, in which "platform" course is offered in the first and second semesters, with 8 credits; "Module" course is offered in the third and fourth semesters, with 4 credits.

(3) Basic Mathematics Course: According to different requirements, we will implement hierarchical and classified teaching, which will be offered in the first, second, third and fourth semesters, with a total of 16 credits (law, engineering, literature and science majors will offer mathematics courses in combination with their professional reality).

(4) Computer basic course: implement multi-dimensional assessment under a unified goal, pay attention to the reform of teaching content, and strengthen application, with a total of 10 credit (in which students of computer basic module course have passed the requirements of "self-study+counseling+computer examination" 1 credit); Other courses are offered by the School of Information Engineering after consultation between various majors and the School of Information Engineering.

(5) College Chinese course: reform according to the requirements of improving students' literary and artistic appreciation ability, communication ability and writing ability, with 3 credits.

(6) physical education class: offered in the first, second, third and fourth semesters, with 34 hours 1 credit per semester, accounting for 4 credits.

4. Professional courses

(1) Set up professional courses according to the requirements of professional foundation entering the mainstream, professional backbone showing advantages and professional combination showing characteristics.

(2) Professional basic courses: basically keep the overall framework of "2+2" training mode, the first two years are relatively unified, adhere to the principle of open training, about 14 courses, 42 credits; The majors of law, engineering, literature and science are set according to the mode of economics and management, and require basic training in their respective colleges. The relevant contents of the original Introduction to Discipline are included in the course of Career Development and Employment Foundation and related professional courses, and are no longer set separately.

(3) Specialized courses: According to the requirements of "science, precision, specialty and complexity", 6-8 courses reflecting the most basic theories, knowledge and skills in this professional field are set up, about 2 1 credit, and the time can be advanced to the fourth semester. It is necessary to further broaden the foundation, expand the scope of professional adaptation, closely combine with social needs, reduce duplication, reflect the core issues of the specialty, and avoid the course becoming more and more detailed.

(4) Specialized elective courses: Elective courses are set according to the idea of cross-compounding and embodying characteristics. The elective courses with tight compound corresponding majors reflect the professional requirements; Non-compact compound elective courses corresponding to majors are aimed at expanding choices. Limited elective courses and elective courses require students to complete about 24 credits. In order to meet the choice requirements of students, a sufficient number of elective courses should be provided; In order to avoid too many kinds of elective courses, interdisciplinary elective courses are not set up separately for the time being, but are included in any elective courses. It is hoped that colleges and majors will set up some interdisciplinary elective courses in any elective course as much as possible.

(5) Each major should offer at least two bilingual courses, mainly selected from the courses with strong universality.

5. Experimental courses

(1) Basic experiments are included in normal teaching, and credits are not calculated separately.

(2) Course experiments are set by each major according to the actual needs of cultivating applied talents: at least 2-3 experimental courses are offered in each major of economics and management; Science and engineering majors should further increase the proportion of comprehensive and designed experiments; Grammar majors should set up corresponding experimental courses according to their professional characteristics.

(3) The comprehensive experiment should be improved step by step according to the requirements of national economic informatization and the demand for comprehensive knowledge in the field of students' employment, so as to ensure that each major has 1 2 credits; The name can be tentatively named "XXX Professional Comprehensive Experiment".

(4) Conditional, you can also set up interdisciplinary comprehensive innovation experiment courses, provide elective courses for students, conduct online experiments, and give innovation credits or reward credits.

6. Practice teaching

(1) cognitive exercise: summer setting before the third semester, 1 credit.

(2) Literature review: 1 credit.

(3) Graduation internship: 2 credits.

(4) Graduation thesis (design): 3 credits.

7. The second classroom activities

According to the requirements of "paying equal attention to three businesses" and "paying equal attention to five abilities", seven modules are set up, including social practice, social work and community activities, verbal communication, comprehensive writing, lectures, reading activities and scientific and cultural activities, and students are required to complete six credits.

For specific implementation measures, please refer to the Implementation Opinions of Nanjing University of Finance and Economics on Promoting the Integration of Career Development Education, Entrepreneurship Education and Second Classroom Activities.

8. Innovation points

The total credits of each major are the minimum credits or graduation qualification credits for students to graduate. The school encourages students to take more credits, especially through various innovative activities to obtain credits. Specific measures shall be formulated separately.

(3) Relevant explanations

1. The training plan of business administration (environmental business, Sino-Canadian cooperation) and accounting (Sino-British cooperation) should set up relevant courses according to the requirements of Canadian and British cooperative schools, with the focus on ensuring that English teaching is targeted and meets the needs.

2. Related majors should offer courses from the fifth semester to the eighth semester for "undergraduate" students. The basic requirements are to lay a solid foundation, strengthen majors, pay attention to training, and appropriately reduce the requirements for graduation thesis.

3. Further clarify the scheme and detailed rules for the separate training of mathematics and applied mathematics majors, which should be targeted, feasible and operable.

Fourth, organize the implementation.

(1) According to the overall arrangement of the reform of the school's talent training mode, the Academic Affairs Office puts forward the implementation opinions on adjusting the talent training programs of various majors.

(two) the professional person in charge (department head), as the first person in charge of professional construction, is directly responsible for the adjustment and revision of their respective professional personnel training programs; Under the leadership of our hospital, we should unify our understanding, brainstorm, discuss and study, fully demonstrate, and organize external experts to consult and audit when necessary.

(three) each college is responsible for guiding the adjustment and revision of the professional training plan of the college, and strengthening exchanges, communication and cooperation with relevant colleges; The Academic Affairs Office is specifically responsible for organizing, coordinating and coordinating work, sorting out and compiling talent training plans; After being examined and approved by the school teaching Committee, it will be organized and implemented by the Academic Affairs Office.
