According to Shabai Cili, director of the Gansu Provincial Ethnic Affairs Commission, the establishment of Northwest University for Nationalities is an important measure for the State Ethnic Affairs Commission and the Gansu Provincial Government to implement the strategy of rejuvenating the country through science and education and strengthening the country through talents, support the development of higher education, and promote the development of human resources in ethnic minorities and ethnic minority areas.
