Brief introduction of British competition:

National english contest for college students (NECCS) is the only competition in China to examine college students' comprehensive English ability, which is organized by the Foreign Language Teaching Steering Committee and the Foreign Language Teaching Research Association. By 2022, the contest has been successfully held for 24 sessions.

The preliminary competition (school competition) is usually held in April every year. At 9: 00 am-11:00 am on the day of the competition, the participating institutions will arrange the school examination room to organize the school players to participate in the competition. The initial questions include written answers and listening comprehension. Among them, the pre-trial takes the form of playing recordings. The specific arrangements shall be subject to the notice of the participating institutions.

The final (provincial competition) written test (including listening) is usually arranged in May every year, and the competition day is 9:00- 1 1:00. The organizing committees and the organizers of each province arrange the examination room to organize the players in the province to participate in the competition.
