The Medical College of Kunming University of Science and Technology was established on March 28th, 20 1 1. It has a basic medical department and a clinical medical college. There are 9 tutors for master students in the Department of Basic Medicine, 2 tutors for doctoral students, 0/05 tutors for master students in the Clinical Medical College (First People's Hospital of Yunnan Province and Affiliated Hospital of Kunming University of Science and Technology) and 65,438 tutors for doctoral students. The college has made breakthroughs in basic theoretical research related to medicine, including Yunnan Key Laboratory of Birth Defects and Genetic Diseases, Yunnan Cancer Transformation Medical Engineering Technology Research Center, and Yunnan University Medical Molecular Diagnosis Engineering Research Center. At present, there are more than 30 national projects and more than 20 provincial projects/kloc-0. The predecessor of the Department of Basic Medicine is the Medical and Health Research Center of the School of Life Science and Technology of Kunming University of Science and Technology.
