During the Sui and Tang Dynasties, the North Shore Line of the Yangtze River was located in today's new campus, and the famous poem Moonlight on the Spring River was the spring night scene of Qujiang-Jindukou section of the Yangtze River in the southern suburbs of Yangzhou in the Tang Dynasty. The new campus is named Yangzijin Campus, which not only has profound cultural background, but also has exact regional characteristics and distinctive ancient city characteristics. It also forms internal relations with the existing campus of the school, such as "Slender West Lake" and "Lotus Pond", which can arouse people's association and stimulate their yearning for the ancient city and Yang Da University.
On May 12, 2008, the first single building broke ground. By September 2009, the teachers and students of the four colleges had settled in smoothly. In just 16 months, a modern university campus has sprung up.
