Xiamen University "May 1" International Labor Day holiday notice;

According to the national regulations and relevant requirements, we hereby notify you of the holiday time and curriculum adjustment arrangements for the May 1st International Labor Day in 2023 as follows:

Holiday time: 5 days from April 29th (Saturday) to May 3rd (Wednesday). Go to work on Sunday, April 23rd and Saturday, May 6th.

Curriculum adjustment arrangement: the whole school will be closed on May 1 Monday; April 23rd and May 2nd (Tuesday) were switched, and May 3rd and May 6th (Saturday) were switched.

All units should make up lessons in time according to actual needs.

What can I do during the May Day holiday?

part-time jobs/work

Students who didn't go home, go to school or go out with good friends on May Day can take advantage of the May Day holiday to do part-time jobs and experience the hardships of making money and the importance of communicating with others through short social practice.

Tourism collection

You can go out with good friends, travel and collect ideas, experience the breath of nature and relax during the prime time of May Day travel.

Skills training

You can use your vacation time to learn motor vehicle driving. Through study, you can not only master a skill and improve your own skills, but also get credits, killing two birds with one stone.

Go home to visit relatives

You can use the small holiday to go home and chat with your parents, talk about the joys and sorrows that have happened in your life, or go shopping with your parents to exercise, or help them do what they can to share the fatigue.
