The Regional Economic Research Center of the School of Environment and Planning of Henan University is the research base of humanities and social sciences in Henan Province, the Regional Development and Planning Research Center is the research base of humanities and social sciences in the Education Department of Henan Province, the Regional Science Research Institute is the key research institution of Henan University, and the Yellow River Civilization and Sustainable Development Research Center of Henan University is the research base of humanities and social sciences in the Ministry of Education. It has three teaching laboratories: physical geography, geographic information system and environmental science.
