Dr Jeffrey Lake is a professor of industrial and operational management at the University of Michigan. He is the co-founder and director of the Japanese course of technology management, lean manufacturing and lean product R&D certification. He has won the Xinxiang Prize for four times. Dr Lake has published many research articles about Toyota in Harvard Business Review, Si Long Management Review and other important publications. Dr. Lake is also the founder of Optiprise lean enterprise and supply chain management consulting company. His book "Towards Lean: Experience of American Manufacturers" won the Xinxiang Manufacturing Research Award from 65438 to 0998.
