Kongjing University is the largest university in Thailand, with a campus area of over 10000 mu and more than 35000 students. Recommended by the Education Office of the Embassy of China in Thailand, Southwest University of China was identified as a China university that jointly founded the Confucius Institute with Kongjing University in Thailand. In March 2006, a three-member delegation led by Ding, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of Southwest University, and translated by Li Changxiao, an interpreter from the International Department, was invited to visit our school and signed an agreement on the co-construction of Confucius Institutes.
