Under the leadership of the Party and Government Department of Qingdao University and the Conservatory of Music, the discipline of musicology in Qingdao University has developed rapidly and achieved remarkable results during the Eleventh Five-Year Plan period, forming its own advantages and characteristics both inside and outside the province. Mainly reflected in the following aspects.

1, Subject Team and Scientific Research:

This discipline is the only provincial key discipline in Shandong Province during the Eleventh Five-Year Plan period. This subject has a high-level teaching and research team, including 7 professors and 5 doctors, and many outstanding talents introduced from famous universities such as the United States, Britain and Germany. At the same time, Mr. Bian Zushan, a famous conductor, was hired as the dean, and Lv Siqing and other international high-level experts and inheritors of national traditional music and culture were hired as part-time professors. The construction of good and reasonable teaching staff not only ensures the teaching quality of high-level undergraduate and graduate students, but also forms a good and sustainable scientific research team, and a large number of excellent scientific research and teaching achievements have emerged. Based on the construction of Qingdao, a leading city in Shandong Province with the cultural characteristics of "music island" and "marine culture", the music discipline of our school has gradually expanded its academic research field to the study of marine music culture from the perspective of the peninsula and the world.

2, personnel training:

At present, there are three undergraduate musicology majors in the first-level discipline of music and dance, 1 master's degree awarding points, including academic and professional ones, covering four fields of music performance, music theory and composition technology, dance performance and teaching research in China, and 15 research directions of ethnomusicology, Chinese and foreign music history, composition, polyphony and electronic music. It has become one of the most complete units of music discipline in various art colleges in our province. At the same time, this subject undertakes the important task of aesthetic education teaching and research in the national key research base for cultural quality training of college students.

3. Infrastructure construction:

The eight departments under the Conservatory of Music of our school all have fixed offices, more than 65,438+000 piano rooms, two professional dance training classrooms, two concert halls, an electronic music research room and a library. In particular, the first-class concert hall in China (which can accommodate 1200 people) is not only a necessary place for international musicians to perform, teach and research, but also an "International Violin Competition" organized by the Ministry of Culture.

4. Academic exchange: This discipline established the Shandong Traditional Music Culture Inheritance and Protection Research Center with Shandong Social Science Federation, and established teacher-student exchange programs with Missouri State University, Arkansas Central State University and Korea Hanshi University. At the same time, the symphony orchestra of our school's Conservatory of Music was named "Shandong University Symphony Orchestra" by the Provincial Department of Education, which was funded and supported by the Ministry of Education and was widely praised in the tour of colleges and universities in the province. The discipline has continuously strengthened academic exchanges at home and abroad, successfully held master classes such as vocal music and dance in colleges and universities, and held many seminars on the inheritance of Shandong traditional music, which promoted academic exchanges between regions and countries, broadened the fields and horizons of scientific research and teaching, and promoted the development of scientific research and teaching.

5. Scientific research achievements.

In recent years, the scientific research achievements of this discipline have been remarkable, including 4 monographs published by national first-class publishing houses, more than 20 academic papers published by national core journals, 5 provincial and ministerial projects supported by the National Art Foundation 1, 3 national teaching awards 1, 3 second and third prizes for outstanding achievements in social sciences in Shandong Province, 2 second prizes for Taishan literature and art in Shandong Province, and 2 second prizes for culture and art in Shandong Province. Teachers in the direction of music performance have won the first and second prizes in the Shandong Teachers and Students Music Skills Competition year after year.

At present, the subject has formed the characteristics of complete professional direction, equal emphasis on theory and practice, and coexistence of tradition and modernity. On this basis, the research and creation of marine music culture from an international perspective is the main direction of innovation and development, which effectively embodies the broad vision of musicology major in comprehensive universities and the disciplinary characteristics of combining theory and practice in art disciplines.

The main construction objectives and contents, construction measures and expected landmark achievements during the Twelfth Five-Year Plan period;

1. Construction goal: During the 12th Five-Year Plan period, this discipline will focus on the needs of building Shandong Province into a strong cultural province, build a leading musicology discipline in the province, train first-class talents in music research, creation and performing arts, carry out marine music cultural exchange and research on traditional music culture and its musical forms in Jiaodong Peninsula, build an advanced domestic music discipline, show the level of music education in Shandong Province, and serve the cultural brands of local cities.

2. Construction content: During the Twelfth Five-Year Plan period, on the basis of the Eleventh Five-Year Plan, this discipline will highlight and integrate the advantages of existing ethnomusicology, Chinese and foreign music history, basic theory of composition and music performance direction, further increase the introduction of talents, increase the number of highly educated and high-level teachers, build a discipline platform with Shandong characteristics and marine music culture characteristics, and produce a number of high-level marine music culture and traditional music achievements in 3-5 years to fill China. At the same time, on this basis, this discipline will, in line with the concept of serving the society and the local area, cooperate with the cultural construction of provinces and cities, strengthen the industrialization of research results, create and perform a number of excellent music works, and become a brand of music in provinces and cities. During the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" period, we will strive to become a doctoral training unit for music and dance.

Three. Construction measures and expected landmark achievements:

1, echelon construction and innovation team

Using the talent introduction policies of provinces, cities and Qingdao University, we will introduce 2-3 academic leaders with doctorates and professorships and young and middle-aged academic backbones with doctorates, and set up an expert group composed of 9 professors, 16 doctors and 20-30 high-level talents and young and middle-aged backbones to form a disciplinary echelon. At the same time, build a high-level creative practice team, accelerate the phased practical transformation of research results, and strive to build a national innovation team within five years.

2. Platform construction and scientific research achievements

(1) Build "Marine Music Culture Research Institute", which consists of Shandong Traditional Music Culture Heritage and Protection Center, Chinese and Foreign Music Culture Exchange Research Center and Animation Electronic Music Creation and R&D Center. During the 3-5 years, a number of high-level achievements have been made in marine music culture and traditional music, including 5 monographs and 20 ISSCI articles, which have filled many gaps in the research field of marine music culture exchange in China, won 20 scientific research awards and projects at or above the provincial and ministerial levels, and held international marine music seminars and Asia-Pacific national music seminars, expanding the influence of the discipline;

(2) Hire intangible cultural inheritors of Shandong music culture as part-time professors, establish local music culture into classroom teaching system, promote the inheritance and research of Shandong traditional music culture, build a national demonstration base for intangible cultural inheritance and protection, and establish local characteristics and advantages of this discipline;

(3) By integrating the technologies and disciplines of our college's multi-disciplinary fields and comprehensive universities, and with the advantages of Qingdao's animation economy and electronic economy, we will establish an advanced electronic music technology production research and development system and build a mobile electronic music research and development center that is in line with international standards. Through the construction of scientific research practice platform, we will further do a good job in the construction of key disciplines of musicology, and build this discipline into a well-known characteristic music discipline in China within five years.

3, teaching construction and personnel training:

On the basis of the existing undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, this discipline will further strengthen the construction of teaching staff, increase the investment in teaching infrastructure, improve the conditions of teaching and scientific research, set up art education funds and discipline research funds, ensure that the college carries out discipline research projects in a planned way, invite experts to teach, and hold master classes and academic exchange activities. At the same time, strengthen the construction of teaching practice platform, further improve the existing symphony orchestra and Shandong folk band, focus on the research, creation and performance of marine music culture and traditional culture, adapt to the needs of cultural development in Shandong Province, and cultivate innovative talents with rigorous style, solid theoretical foundation, professional knowledge system, skilled playing skills and strong innovation ability.
